The people who make Puzzlez feel like family
Puzzlez Playschool is a day nursery in Ongar, on the High Street in Chipping Ongar, caring for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Families and our team work together, and we get to know every child well.
Our approach
We believe we are all raising the future together, and in doing so we become a family. Early childhood is crucial for lifelong growth, so our team has built a warm, homely space where every child is valued for who they are.
We care for children across three rooms, the Bambi Room, the Peter Pan Room and the Lion King Room, and we are open Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm. Every room follows the Early Years Foundation Stage, the framework for children from birth to 5 in England.
Every child has a key person: a named practitioner who gets to know them, their routines and their family. Our experienced educators plan around each child’s interests and keep you updated through regular updates, meetings and feedback sessions.
All staff complete regular safeguarding training, and our Safer Recruitment and Staff Suitability policies set out how we check that everyone who joins us is suitable to work with children.

What is a key person?
